SHE WALKED INTO THE ROOM AND THE ROOM NOTICED.

That is exactly what TIRA COOKS was built for and in March 2026, the world started paying attention in a very real way. We are proud, humbled, and deeply honored to share that TIRA COOKS and founder Tira Kelly have landed the cover of The Hook Magazine, Issue 8 with a multi-page feature that tells the story of how this brand came to life, what it stands for, and where it is going. If you have been with us from the beginning, this moment belongs to you too.

FROM THE SEWING MACHINE TO THE COVER

Less than a year ago, TIRA COOKS did not exist on a runway. It existed in a vision late nights at a sewing machine, a deep love of color and craft, and the unshakeable belief that women deserve to wear clothes that make them feel like the most powerful version of themselves the moment they walk through a door. On February 21, 2026, that vision became undeniable. TIRA COOKS made its official runway debut at Philadelphia Fashion Week inside the Fashion District Philadelphia presenting 13 original looks from our debut collection, Technicolor Beneath the Surface, to a packed and electric house. The applause was real. The moment was earned. The Hook Magazine was watching.

The Hook's multi-page story titled "Let Her Cook" goes beyond the runway. It is a portrait of a designer finding her voice, building a brand from the ground up, and choosing Philadelphia as the city where that story would unfold.

The feature explores:

• The origin of TIRA COOKS and how a pandemic-era love of sewing became a full couture label

• The philosophy behind Technicolor Beneath the Surface bold color, heirloom fabric, and small-batch production made in Philadelphia

• The Illuminate the Arts Grant awarded by the Philadelphia City Council, recognizing Tira Cooks as a meaningful contributor to the city's creative sector

• The generational thread of sewing that connects Tira to her grandmother, who made all of her going-out clothes in New York City, and her great-grandmother, who worked in a sewing factory

• The vision ahead — boutique partnerships, creative community building, and a long-term goal of joining the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode

WHAT THE FEATURE COVERS

Technicolor Beneath the Surface is not a trend. It is a statement. Every piece in this collection was designed for the woman who does not need to announce herself because her presence does it for her. From the structured Denim Top to the fluid One-Shoulder Floral Dress to the commanding Cobalt Blue Satin Suit, each look was built around one idea: that true luxury lives in the details others overlook. The organza flower a recurring signature throughout the collection is a symbol of that philosophy. Handcrafted and intentionally placed, it is quiet on the surface and deeply intentional at its core. Just like the woman who wears it.

THE COLLECTION THAT STARTED IT ALL

The TIRA COOKS woman is not chasing trends. She is curating a life. She is the one on the board, at the gala, on the retreat in Cape May and she wants a wardrobe that moves as gracefully as she does, from the boardroom to the dinner party without missing a beat. She invests in pieces that feel personal. She supports brands that mirror her values. She knows the difference between fashion that is made and fashion that is meant. That is who we design for. That is who this cover is for.

FOR THE WOMAN WHO WEARS HER STORY

The cover is just the beginning. Here is what is coming:

• Boutique partnerships across Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York, and Florida bringing TIRA COOKS pieces closer to you

• Wholesale and trunk show appointments launching Spring 2026

• New one-on-one sewing lessons because we believe every woman should have the opportunity to create as well as wear

• New collection developments stay close
