OLIVET Dress Spotted at the BlueClaws Baseball Game

I don't know about you, but my summer sewing schedule is already spilling over into the fall. At the last minute, was invited to a baseball game game, was so much much fun! However, did didn't have cute enough to wear to the game. With the help of my team, decided to deconstruct a baseball jersey and make transform into a dress!

I ended up using three jerseys since the gathering required so much fabric. The bottom portion of my dress is made fromblue corduroy, and I added some rhinestones to give it a more feminine touch. I only had one day to cut out everything and sew the jerseys. Apparently, I thrive under pressure because my designs keep becoming more imaginative. I'm so proud of this one, especially since it's my first official team gear!

Please enjoy my take on the new free PDF sewing pattern, the Olivet. I am considering making this dress again, but I have a terrible habit of avoiding identical styles in my closet. Perhaps this will be my first, as it is a combination of a dress and a blouse.
